Work From Home

Most of my friends know that I have worked from home for the last 5 years. I started off with a family childcare home. I enjoyed working with children and even went back to school to earn my Associates in Applied Science in the Early Childhood field. But as in all areas with the economy and loss of jobs in my area, I also started losing the children that I had cared for since they were 6 weeks old. All of my children became part of the family and it was hard to see them go, but I can understand when parents had to look for other options for care. So this left me looking for other options for work as well. I have a small child, 3 yrs old at home as well, and I could not afford to pay for childcare for her as well. I was able to enroll her in Head Start last year, which helped me to pursue other work at home options. I currently am working from home for a Major Theme Park and have been working for them for 6 months. I also just got certified for my second client, a Major Telephone Company. I really enjoy this work, and I provide customer service to these companies. The company that I went to obtain these jobs is http://www.arise.com/. There are some out of pocket costs, but well worth it once you get started. Some of the requirements are no noise in your background, a plain phone line, a computer(desk top) with at least 1GB of RAM, high speed wireless internet connection, headphones (for phone & computer). You will set up your profile on there site and you will take a course (ACP101) with them this course normally costs $99, but sometimes they are running incentives where you can take this course for free. You will also need to be incorporated as a business, the cost for this can vary from state to state, if you are unable to incorporate you can go under another corporation that is already working for Arise, but you will only be able to work the clients that the corporation is certfiied for. I set up my own corporation so I can choose who I work for. Trainings for the clients are paid for at of your pocket and can range in price from $25 to $225. If anyone is interested, please visit http://www.arise.com/ or if you would like to ask me a question feel free to email me.

It has been quite awhile since I posted on my blog. So I think that it is way over due. Alot has changed for me in the last couple of months. I had to close my first shift on my daycare due to the loss of too many children. I have started a new profession working from home with a company called Arise (www.arise.com) Now I work from home for a major theme park making dining reservations. I love this job and I am able to work around my schedule, due to me having a young daughter and granddaughter at home. If anyone of my followers or friends are interested in working from home I would be glad to let you know how I got started. There are alot of real companies out there, you just need to know where to look.
