July Exchanges

This month I was involved in 2 exchanges, dish cloth and towel topper. I received 2 beautiful dishcloths from my exchange partner Kris B. Both were knitted and one was green with a heart inside and the other was a ripple mulit colored pattern. I LOVED both of them!!! I still have not gotten my towel topper exchange yet, but can't wait for it to come in the mail!

Scarf Exchange

I also partcipated in a Scarf Exchange this month and received a beautiful multi colored scarf from my exchange partner Sandra. I really enjoy being part of these exchanges on my yahoo group the gathering room. I get to meet new people and it is always fun getting a package in the mail. I have exchanged before with the 2 partners that I had this time and I really enjoyed being there partner again!!

Pot Holder Exchange

I was part of a pot holder exchange for the month of June. I received these lovely pot holders from my partner Joye. Here is a picture of the beautiful pot holders.

Knifty Knitter ~ Loom Knitting

I just completed my first project, a scarf. I have been looking at these looms at my local Walmart, and I finally purchased one for myself. I really enjoyed making this item & it was very easy to use. I am working on my second scarf and plan to purchase the round looms to make matching hats.

Summer Delight

I just got finish testing a pattern for a friend on the_gathering_room yahoo group. This is an infant layette for infant to age 24 months. Cable in a Diamond Purse

This was my first attempt at crocheting a pocketbook. I received the pattern from a book that I ordered from The Needlecraft Shop. The book is called From Knit to Crochet, and features knitting patterns that can be done in crochet stitches. Quick Shell Lapghan

This is my lastest project. It is a quick shell lapghan, in green, white, and yellow.
